Couldn't drivers then be created?

Hello Sarah,

Such a driver would need to be obtained from the card manufacturer. It is
likely, that given the type of processor in the BrailleNote, drivers won't
be available. However, the BrailleNote PK might be a different story,
though the problem there is that obviously, there is no PCMCIA slot.

I have such a USB to PCMCIA adapter, I use it in an old laptop with only one
very slow USB port. It has two USB 2.0 ports on the front. I wonder if a
driver could be written to allow the BrailleNote to use this card?
Humanware guys, any thoughts?

Thanks,

Sarah

Hi,

Would it be possible, through the use of a PCMCIA card, (plugs into the slot on the right--hand side of the braille or voicenote,) to have USB 1.0 or 2.0
support in a future version of keysoft, if such a USB compact flash or
PCMCIA card exists?

Josh
