Hi Jonathan, Thanks for the clarification. I think since many of us are on this list and the GPS list, and one of the lead engineers for GPS indicated that he wasn't aware of the PK unit, this sparked concerns. I think this is understandable. WE believe in the BrailleNOte and the GPS being integrated into it, and I think our main concern is that they both will work, hopefully at release time of KeySoft 6.1. Your message clarified things and I am reassured. Thanks, and again congrats on the major inprovements that are coming. Best Regards,

There are two separate issues and for the sake of clarity, we need to keep them separate. One is, will BrailleNote GPS work on BrailleNote PK. the other is, will BrailleNote GPS work with KeySoft 6.1. I'll answer them separately. Will BrailleNote GPS work with BrailleNote PK? We certainly expect so, if not at release time, then not long after. We're committed to supporting Sendero with this, I have been in touch with Sendero's CEO and we're continuing to work constructively to this end. To illustrate how serious we are about this, Sendero is getting one of the few BrailleNote PKs that currently exist so they can work on this. This is no different in any way from what sometimes happens when, say, a new version of Windows comes out. It may take a while for vendors to catch up, but generally not very long, especially when they can get their hands on the new stuff before the end user does. Will BrailleNote GPS work with KeySoft 6.1? Yes. Because the hardware platform is the same, there should be no problem here at all.
