Hi Vicky. My understanding is that an initialisation string is required in
the Connection Configuration you set up for Cingular. I'm sorry but I don't
know that that string should contain, but someone on the list may be able
to assist us. You should be able to enter this string in the field provided
for additional modem information, and Voila.

Well, I guess I should clarify here from my earlier message. Actually, I'm
not trying to use Bluetooth over a network as of yet, don't even have the
appropriate adapter yet; but, rather, I was trying to connect to my Nokia
6620 cell phone. And, when I said I wasn't having any luck, it was with
getting it to work with my Cingular GPRS connection. Now, this same
connection does work with my other devices, but it only connects and logs
on
successfully and then disconnects with the PK using Bluetooth. However,
even though I hadn't thought to try it before, I did just try and was able
to use the slower regular dial-up connection to my ISP on the first try
with
Bluetooth and the PK. So, I'll keep working with the GPRS connection to
see
if I can get the settings right.
