Hi there.
Thanks for your help. However, when I enter the format markers in to a
braille document so that they will come out in print I am not able to hear
them spoken as format markers with the speech so that makes me think that it
might not be working. When i read the apendix that lists the format markers
they look different on the display. I think I am supposed to use a dollar
sign in computer braille which should be dots 1,2,4,6. Instead of seeing
the dollar sign which should look like an E-D sign I see something that
looks like a period in braille. this is really confusing to me. If anyone
can clear this up for me that would be great.
sincerely
Melissa

Hi Melissa,
Start with section 3.13.1 I believd this begins to describe format
indicators and it says they're mentioned again in chapter seven. then
appendix b. that's bee as in boy.
In this area you'd find all your formatting commands. Good luck!

Hi. I am new to this list and have had my BrailleNote for a few months
now. I would like to know how to enter format indicators in to a
document my self. For instance, I would like to have bold headings in my
forms I use for my clinical experiences. I can do this stuff in
Microsoft word, but would like to just put things in to word format after
formatting them. I have looked around in the user guide and can't find a
section that tells about entering the format indicators in to a keyword
document. Maybe I am just missing something. I can't seem to find a
list of the codes for the common indicators so that I can just key them
in. there is an appendix in the user guide that tells me how to search
for the indicators, but the key combinations listed there don't seem to
enter the indicators in to a document. Any help would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Melissa Keys
