If I wanted to ask for a wireless connection for my 6.1 upgrade for Christmas, what cards would you recommend?

Right now you could use the Socket Low Power Ethernet card we support, and connect to a router/network hub. Or you can get yourself a wireless access point and use WiFi when 6.1 is released. In 6.1 the way you connect is quite different, because we will have a directory of network configurations and a separate directory of e-mail accounts. The old directory of services is gone. Once I've acquired and connected such hardware as may be necessary: Presumably I have to establish something called a Service? Well, one of the things it seems to require is a phone number (presumably an i.s.p's phone number?? How does that apply to a cable connection?? Sorry if I seem dumb, but, I am. I worked in computers for 37 years, but that was mainframe stuff!!! Thanks for your patience, in advance. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
