IT is possible the networks have POP3 and SMTP ports blocked.  In that case,
you'll have to use web mail or Freedom Box on the web to get your e-mail.

I have not yet been able to connect at an airport, because most of the sites
I have found want me to pay for a service before I can connect and that may
be your problem.
