It isn't making a new page, but just having the new page symbol which is a
ed sign plus a f, to show up on the display. I can get them to display if I
accidentally land on them, but I would like it if they could be there as I
was moving the display along, so I could find exactly where the new page
begins.

stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.

Dear Shelley,

You can try the following:

Press control with g to hear the status or change your input grade and
then press q for querty input. Then use the querty command for a page
brake, which is control with enter, but control with n may perhaps also
work. I cannot test it, as I have a voice note bt.

Also, depending on which scanning program you use, you can also edit
with ms word or notepad from the pc, or if you use openbook or Kurzweil,
you can use its editor.

Subject: [Braillenote] New Page character won't display

hi you all, how can I get the "new page" or "page break" character to
display on the Braille display. it would quite nicely in version 5 of
the
software, but there must be a feature in 5.1 that I don't know about to
turn
it back on.

I edit a lot of scanned books on my Braillenote QT, and this little
symbol
comes in really handy in editing out junk in the books.

I don't want all of the format characters to show, but would like to
find a
way to get the page breaks to.

Thanks. I have a Braillenote QT. And enough education about it to be
very
dangerous.

Smile.

Thanks for the help.
