Very interesting! I didn't get the guy's name in Tech Support but I finally called them back. He says that the next time I am in one of those dialog boxes I have to do a botom of file command--that *is* space with dots 4-5-6, right?--and then hit the yes button there. I hope this works ...

If I remember correctly, Rhonda Clark mention having to do this 201 times before it would work. I encountered this situation myself and had to say "yes" about 20 times. I thought it was pretty bad until I read Rhonda's message. <Smile> -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Jane Jordan Sent: Tuesday, May 03, 2005 4:11 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: [Braillenote] help with wireless Hi there. I was trying to set up a wireless connection at school today, and all seemed well till I tried to go to a website. Now on my laptop I am automatically taken to a login web site where I enter in my user name and password, and then I am given a link that I can click on to go to the site I was originally going to visit. But whenever I tired it on the BrailleNote I got a security allert dialog that kept wanting me to review a certificate. Well It gave me a choice of reviewing the certificate, continuing on by hitting yes or not continuing. but whatever I did, I was not able to get out of the dialog box. The folks at Tech say I need to lower my security settings on the BrailleNote's web browser. Is this possible and how do I do it/ I have contacted Tech support and have not heard back from them. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
