You can't use it to play games (the only types I can think of which could possibly be accessible are some type of text-based trivia game or such on the Web which doesn't require use of any 3rd-party software), and you can't really do much to make it work faster, except that deleting cookies and temp files is a good practice to do every so often (under the Internet Options Menu (how to get into it is explained later in the post) and under the Internet File Management submenu of this menu, you will find those options). With PDF files, if you just have the BN, try your luck at sending the PDF file as an attachment to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] for a plain ASCII text version of the document or: [EMAIL PROTECTED] for an HTML version. These translators sometimes may or may not send back results; if you get an attachment back, use KeyWord to read the text document, or KeyWeb to read the HTML document. If you have a PC, use a program capable of handling PDF documents to save it as a text file, and read that in KeyWord.
If you want to read a saved HTML file in KeyWeb, there are two approaches: one when you are at the Address Bar and another when you are not, but you are also not in a menu. If at the Address Bar, press SPACE once to get the "List of Favorites in 'My Favorites' Folder?" prompt. The default location is the 'My Favorites' folder of the Flash Disk, so press BACKSPACE once to change the folder if your HTML file is on the Flash Disk, or twice to change the drive and folder if necessary. Once you're back at the "List of Favorites" view, which only displays files with a .url extension (the extension given to favorites files), press [SPACE with X], [READ with X] until you reach the "List of HTML, text, and Braille files" view, navigate to the HTML file, and press ENTER to open it. If you are not at the Address Bar and also not in a menu, press [ENTER with M], [CONTROL with 2] for the Internet Options Menu, then O for the "Open HTML File" option. Select the location of the file as you would anywhere else on the BN when opening files, and press ENTER to open the HTML file. Appendix D of the User Guide starting with v4, when network support was first implemented to some degree, coghers networking support which is available at this time, and network support should supposedly increase after the upcoming upgrade. >----- Original Message ----- >From: Allee Davis <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: [Braillenote] Web Browser >Hi you guys!
