Hi. Thanks so much for your response. I modified the definition file and
now have it in the keylist folder I don't know how to choose between the
databases. The manual is not too clear. It tells me to move to this file
and confirm the creation of a database and then I will be in the new address
list. I'm confused on the "move" to the file part of it. I'm not sure what
this means. I am probably missing something though.

Hi, Melisa: This is a response concerning your address list question.
Each address list has an associated database. The definition file for
the standard "address list" is found in the KeyList folder and is called
"addresslist.klt". When details are first entered in to the address list,
an associated database volume is created within the "keylist.cdb" file
that is stored in the Keylist folder on Flash Disk.
1. From Main Menu, go to File Manager.
2. Copy the file named "address list" from the KeyList folder on
Flash Disk to the General folder on Flash Disk.
3. Use KeyWord to open the address list file you have copied in to
the general folder.
4. Set KeyWord to "line-reading mode" by pressing SPACE with M until
"line reading mode is displayed.
5. For now, just modify this to be called "phone list" or whatever
you want to call it. Each file contains 33 lines of information. The
syntax of each line determine its function.
6. The first line of the file contains the word "database" followed
by "address list".
7. Replace "address" with "phone" leaving the word "database" at the
start of line 1.
8. The second line contains the number 24. Leave this unchanged.
8. Delete lines 16420, 16419.
9. Position cursor at the start of line 14856. Use top block marker.
10. Position cursor to 24594. Delete block.
11. If you are happy with this, exit the file, and from File Command
Menu, rename it to "hone" or whatever your choice was.
12. Ignore the message saying there is no database associated.
12. Copy your new file back in to the KeyList folder.
13. When you first enter information, you will be asked to confirm
the creation of your database within "keylist.cdb".
(if you just want to create a template, look under the Creating Templates
in your address list section of the manual. Good luck.
