Brandt: In essence there are five models of BrailleNote, which are as follows:
BrailleNote BT18 - a Braille keyboard with an 18-cell Braille display. BrailleNote QT18 - Same machine, but has a qwerty, or laptop, keyboard. Commands for the qwerty model are different from the BT model. BrailleNote BT32 - same as above, but with 32-cell Braille display. BrailleNote QT32 - qwerty keyboard, 32 cells of Braille. BrailleNote PK: The new kid on the block. I've never seen one, but it's much smaller. From what I understand it does have a Braille display, however. VoiceNote: Same machine, no Braille display. Same commands, same software, but speech only output. Available in all the flavors of regular BrailleNote. Hope this is helpful and not confusing. You should also keep in mind that the more cells the display has, the more expensive the unit will be. It may work with Novell and you could probably use the wi fi to do the job. I've not heard of it not working with any networks.
