I know, it's ridiculous!  I'm not helping the problem with this post, but 
between the merger, the upgrade rumors, and all the usual traffic, the BN list 
has just exploded.

Before you do this, call tech support and let them help you test the unit. 
their number is 925-681-4636 pacific time. You don't just send the unit 
off because someone on list tells you to. You have to go through a set 
procedure like getting an rma(Returm merchandise authorization number.)
