Can you tell me what you did to make this problem happen? I wonder if I can duplicate this on my own unit? Maybe a reset will fix things?

If the Braille display had simply refused to read the file, then it
would have shown up when the card was viewed on the PC, which presumably
does not have a Braille display. This file was gone with the wind!

Maybe, but the display has to have software doesn't it?

Monitors don't have software really. Maybe I'm wrong here on this. I
know
nothing about the technicalities of braille displays.

Saying a Braille display damaged files is like a sighted user saying
that the files were erased by a monitor. The Braille displays an output
device, it displays the information that is sent to it by whatever
software is involved, in this case, Keysoft.

Nope, sorry, this is most definitely a memory issue.  If it was a
display issue, I would have been able to see the data on my PC.  The
data was definitely gone.
