Hi Dean,
Oh thank you sooo much, it worked like lightning! One of my hobbies is
adding everything under the sun that I might possibly use to my dictionary!
It was 25 pages long! Haha! Anyway, I deleted it and the spell checker came
up almost before I hit the hotkey! So thank you so much, and I'll not be
doing that again! Hehehehe! Again, thank you so much, this has been so
inconvenient.
Sincerely,
Caitlin

Hello Caitlin
If the problem is that the spell checker is taking a long time to
activate,
the problem may be that your user dictionary file is getting too big.
What
I would do is move the file which is located in the dictionaries folder on
the flashdisk to another folder and press the reset button. Open a
document
and activate the spell checker, noting whether the performance has
increased.
If you require further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Dean Jackson

Subject: [Braillenote] Sluggish Spell Checker
Hi All,
You may recall that I wrote several days ago about a spell checker
not
working. Well, now it's working, I think it originally was to begin with.
It
turns out it's just being hopelessly sluggish. In my old version of
KeySoft,
it's slightly sluggish, only about five seconds. Which is still pretty
bad,
compared to other BrailleNotes. However, in my new version, it litteraly
takes about three minutes to come up, and of course I don't have that
long
to wait in class to spell check things. I've tried clearing out my flash
disk, but this makes no difference. Besides, my friend who has a
BrailleNote
has less space than I do, and his new version works just fine. Do any of
you
have any suggestions? If so, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
SIncerely,
Caitlin
