Riana, I do know that it is possible to type the first letter of a given file name and have it go there. What a PC running Windows can do that the BrailleNote cannot is accept the input of several letters of the file's name. For instance, as another person mentioned, I can type, (on the BrailleNote), "c" and go to the start of the list of files starting with "c", but I cannot type "clar" and have it jump straight to "Clark". What would happen is that it would jump to "c", then to "l", then to "a", then to "r", and so on. Here's to hoping this will be improved one fine day.

First space down till you get to the file list prompt where it says: "list of files in x folder," then enter the first letter. Depending on how many files there are in your folder, it will take some seconds before you will year the file name you were looking for and minutes if there are more than 150 files in that folder. Unlike windows, you can't choose a file by typing the first few letters of it's name while in the list of files. It is definitely frustrating and I wonder if it will ever be fixed. In some cases I have found it easier and less complicated to just type the file name in the edit box rather than choosing it from the list.
