Tinamost certainly you can. The card in the back slot would be called flash card 2 and you can switch between them.

Does anyone know if it is possible to keep both cf cards and microdrives in the bn at the same time. Can you switch between them or can you only have one in at a time. It would be neat to have a wireless card in the bn and another storage device too.

Hi don,
I have used both since the braillenotes first came out an dsee no
difference in any tyupe.
I just bought a 1 gb CF card for under $80.00 an da 2 gb CF card for
$130.00, these are compact flash cards, not micro drives.
I also have been using the toshiba and kingston 5 gb micro drive card and
have no problems with either in not working or loosing data. I have dropped
my micro drive on the floor more than once, which is not recommended, but
it still works fine, and I either keep it in my side slot on my braillenote
or in the zippered pocket of the brailenote.
You can find the 5 gb micro drives for about $170.00 online, just do a
froogle serch for either kingston or toshiba micro drives.

Greetings to all, I am considering extending the memory of my
braillenote. It appears I can either buy a compact-flash card, or a
microdrive. I am looking for about one gyg or more. I would very much
like to know the advantages, or otherwise, of one system compared to the
other. can someone help. my instinct tells me to go for the
compact-flash with no moving parts, but surely that can't be the whole
story, otherwise nobody would buy microdrives. come in please.
