Thanks all for your suggestions but I have solved the problem on my
own.

After the unit came back from servicing in California Keysoft 5.1.
Build 22 was the Keysoft burned into my machine. Apparently there is a
bug that I have discovered and if I install Keysoft 5.0. Build 24,
entered my ISP Username and Passowrd to access e-mail and then reset
to get back to Keysoft 5.1. build 22, I was then able to connect and
retreive my e-mail.

Let me also warn all of you out there, that there are issues between
Keysoft 5.0 and Keysoft 5.1 that I have had some discussion with Dean
Jackson of Pulsedata on 2 other occasions regarding Keysoft 5.0 and
upgrading to Keysoft 5.1 - one was a unit that had just come back from
servicing with Keysoft 5.0 burned in and wanting to upgrade and a
machine purchased earlier this year also with Keysoft 5.0 and wanting
to upgrade to Keysoft 5.1. Build 22.

If any of you have trouble connecting to receive e-mail after this
upgrade, post here and I'm sure you'll get help.

Milton,

You can edit your password in the relevant record from the directory
of services file/folder which is the first option from within the
keymail setup menu.

To do this, choose to look up a service, space down through the fields
till you reach the relevant password entry and press backspace with c
to change the field. You cannot check whether the password which is
there is the correct one, because it's only represented by five stars;
so you must make sure that what you enter is correct. Overwrite the
previous password and press enter. You will be put on the next entry
field, but if you don't want to change anything else, just press space
with e to exit. You'll be prompted to confirm changes and hopefully
your problem would be solved.

Regards
Riana

Subject: [Braillenote] Error connecting to POP server

I just got my BrailleNote back from servicing in Concord, CA.

I must say that they did a great job but now I'm having a problem
connecting to my e-mail account/pop server. I'm getting "error
Authentication failed, (bad password)."

Before sending the unit for servicing everything was working fine.

I can log on to the Internet using the Internet browser with no
problems.

I'm almost certain that my ISP has not changed any setting on their
end and all the setting in the e-mail setup on the BrailleNote is
correct.

Any suggestions or help--Please!

Thanks.
