Hi, listers. Another interesting question. Do you have to use your 6.1 card
to put the upgrade on? If so, why? Is it a format issue and could one just
format any flash card big enough to hold the bin file?
I put the bin file on my 6.1 flash card because I was told I needed to. I
just wondered why since the card is blank when you put the bin file onto
it. You are directed to copy the contents of the 6.1 card into a folder on
your hard drive for safe keeping. Then, the card is blank and the bin file
copied on to it. Couldn't you just use any flash card to do this. Perhaps
Dean could fill us in on the particulars.
If it didn't matter, you guys who already have 6.1 could just downlod the
bin file and put it onto a flank flash card.
