Yes, that is precisely how it should be done.

As everyone does not have a problem with pressing a chord accidentally,
I suggest that if PDI want to address the problem, the best would be to
add the option to have chord keys switched on or off via the options
menu, but I suggest that the default should be that it's set to on, as
everyone must use them often if you have a bt.

I've had this kind of thing happen with several types of notetakers, and

not just the BN. I was wondering if there would be a place to put a
special chord key, that would make it easily reachable, but not a key
that's used for other things like the spacebar is. I can't think of
where
that hypothetical key could be placed though. I picture it on the front
by
the thumbkeys, but there's really no room. Still, if there was a place
that a special chord key could be easily accessed and the user could hit

that key and the appropriate other keys, instead of the spacebar and
other
keys, it might help people avoid the problem many have reported of being

bounced out of documents or moved to another position in documents.
Hmmmm,
I wonder if an option could be added to the thumbkey option to make them
be
chord keys instead of doing what they normally do. I know for myself I
almost never use the previous and next thumbkeys. If I were one who had
a
problem with accidental chords, I might like to have the option of using

one of these as a chord key. Just brainstorming as I type, wondering if

there's a solution to this situation.
