Hi Paul,

On many routers there is a security function which allows only devices with 
specific mac addresses to connect to the network.  If you want to employ this, 
you need to get the mac address written on a sticker located on the wireless 
card and enter it into the list of acceptable mac addresses in the router.  

As far as I know, there's nothing you need to enter in the bn itself.  The mac 
address is actually related to the connecting device, in this case the wireless 
card.  

So, you'd only need it if you wanted the added security.
