Greetings. MSN Instant Messenger is, in fact, part of what makes up a standard issue Pocket PC at this point. On the other hand, PalmOS-based systems, as I recall, require that you install an external instant messenger program, which is usually at least AOL (I don't think they have MSN for Palm).
So the question is, will PDI implement instant messaging, or will they implement the SDK and someone then wrap the BrailleNote interface around an existing multiplatform instant messaging client distributed under, say, the LGPL? -C- > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of > richard Van Driel > Sent: Saturday, July 03, 2004 10:16 PM > To: Braillenote List > Subject: re: [Braillenote] the pocket-sized bn and the new > upgrade for keysoft > > > Lisa, > Yes, I think other pdas do have instant messaging. > I know the Pacmate has I think Windows instant, but I don't > know if this was added or comes with the windows Ce.
