Jerry,

The option that is currently in KeySoft to say "yes to all" or similar, when replacing or deleting a group of files should be available when deleting a backup but I'll confirm this and write to the list if I find this not to be the case. I certainly haven't got everything done today that I said I'd do but I'm slowly catching up.

Dean.

Dear Dean,
Happy New Year. Thanks for the good news regarding the deletion of BN Backups. Would this new feature, by chance, include a "hands-off" option, wherein you could request the deletion of the BN backup, with no warning questions asked. This would be handy with larger backups, which could take some time to delete. I could set the process going, and start my coffee break.

Sincerely,
Jerry Weinger

Hi all,

Stacey, you have obviously received some wonderful help on this thread and
thanks to those responsible for providing it.

You'll all be pleased to know that as of KeySoft 6.0 and above, this has
been made a lot easier. The issue here is that files with the hidden
atribute couldn't be deleted in previous versions of KeySoft by simply
deleting the appropriate folder. From memory, which yes, does let me down
sometimes, you are now warned that the file is protected as normal.

Thank you all for your patience over the holiday period and I think you will
find that things will pretty much be back to normal on the list next week,
when Jonathan gets back on the boat again as it were.

Regards,

Subject: [Braillenote] Backing up and restoreing files

Hi all,
Hopefully Dean or someone else can help me.
Here's my issue.
I ghave no trouble backing up files to the compact flash using the back up
and restore feature with the utilities menu. The problem comes when I
want to erase a backup. I can't figure out how to erase a backup folder
using the vn. I'm sure there has to be a way to do this with the vnqt?
Can someone tell me how to erase a backup after I've backed up my flash
disk on to the compact flash card?
Thanks,
Stacey
