Hi Terry, Thanks. My BN is on its way, but I'll keep that in mind for the next time I translate. What I did was go from the default format which I assume is .kwb to .kwt and then to .rtf. I still wound up with grade 2 braille on the braille displays I'm using at work and at home, so all is relatively well. I think I had a file translated into txt unicode 8 bit, and that was incomplete. I actually thought I had lost some important data at the end of that file, but I also had an .rtf file with the same data, and it was fine. Thanks again. Best Regards,
Les -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Terri Pannett Sent: Thursday, March 10, 2005 12:43 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Braillenote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] (no subject) I'm behind in my email. You must translate you .kwb files to a format your computer can read before you ship your BN. If you want to read them in braille using Duxbury, you could first export them as plain braille files, that is, .brf files. Then, DBT will read them for you or backtranslate them for you. If there was a version of Keysoft for Windows, you wouldn't have any problems. Terri Pannett, Amateur Radio call sign KF6CA.
