Hi Jim, There is a way to read html email on the bn, though, like so many other things, it involves a work-around. Since this method is probably less tedious than the one in which you forward yourself email, I'll write down the stops to accomplish it. *smile*
1. From within the html email, press space with s (control with s) to save the document. You will hear "document has not been modified. File name?" Ignore this. 2. Press backspace with x (control with x) three times until you hear "create a text file, ascii type". Give the file a name, making sure to give it a .htm extension. Answer n to the query "open new file after saving?" 3. Exit to keyweb by pressing backspace, enter, and i (function with 0) and press the spacebar to enter the "my favorites" menu. Hit backspace once if your file has been saved on the flash disk, or twice if you have saved it on another drive. Select the proper drive and folder that your file resides in. 4. press space with x (read with x) so that text, braille, and html files are displayed. Select your file and press enter, and there, my friend, will be your html message, without all the gobledy-gook. The plus of this is that oftentimes, html mail contains links to webpages. You can click on these links and keyweb will be activated to take you there, instead of copying and pasting the link into the web browser. Yes, this is a slightly time-consuming process, but hey, it works!
