Hi. Sure. Quote me<grin>. I would like to get my hands on a pk and download
my 300-400 email messages that I get per day. I also want to see when
reading email how fast mail is moved to the trash and how fast trash is
emptied. I had picked the qt because there was no pk at the time and I type
better than I braille when typing fast.
But I am tempted to make a change just for the speed and portability.

Hi, I am a college student and use very large textbooks for my classes. I

should purchase a PK for me. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind me
putting this message in the letter? Stacie P

Hi. I want to be able to open larger files faster on the bn. I did an
experiment the other day with someone I know who has a pk. We downloaded
the text version of the king James bible, old and new testaments as a
text file. We put it on to a flash card and then opened it with the pk.
Can you believe it only took 25 seconds to open the entire bible. I then
tried just the old testament on my bn qt. It took me just over two minutes.
I wonder if the pk can downloda email faster, move to the trash and empty
the trash faster than the bn as well. I am considering buying a pk just
for the speed increase<grin>.

I second that!
And, I like Mary Ellen's money management program.
AND, I still want to be able to get my audible.com books via the P.K. or
B.N.
The thing about all of us seems to be that, even when the products are
terrific, we're never satisfied <smile>!

First with regards to Rhonda's unit, didn't they test this before they
sent it back to you? Unfortunately, you might have to send the darn
thing in again! Why don't you insist they test and make 6.11 work
seamlessly for you because you as a person are worth it. With your
expertise and enthusiasm about this product, I would think you deserve
the latest updates as the rest of us. When they fix this, have them
give you your $100 back. Why should you be charged to downgrade if
you have paid for servicing your unit?
I think it would be exciting to have developers make this product even
more exciting and to have the hardware upgraded. However, Jonathan
knows that I've been asking for a year about a money manager
progrm and other nameless people have been asking for that for more
than one year. Jonathan said he put my request inthe log file, but he
said that these upgrades only work if more than a couple people want
them, if I'm not mistaken. Please, folks, if anyone else wants this
update as badly as I do, put it on the list, let Jonathan know, or
both. Thanks in advance.
Nancy
