Dear Allen, When you download the web braille books to a Compactflash card on your PC, you can download them to any folder you want--it doesn't have to be the rooth directory. At the file name prompt, type the drive and folder. For Example, e:\books\redwall.brf.
The easiest way to open a book, is to press backspace and type c for CompactFlash card, then type the folder name, then type the book name. Terri Pannett, Amateur Radio call sign KF6CA. You have : to use the "save" command and choose the drive and folder or directory : you want. One thing I find annoying is that no matter how many times you : choose differently, when you download a book in Web Braille, the bn : always assumes you want the General folder on the flash disk. In other : parts of Keysoft, when you copy or move a file for example, it assumes : the last drives and folders or directories you used. Why then this thing : in Web Braille? Every time you save a volume, and you must save one : volume at a time, quite a tedious task when you have a ten volume book, : do you constantly have to go in and change the drive, folder or : directory, and on and on? It just adds to the workload. What about it : Jonathan, is there some way to make the bn remember what folder you last : loaded a book into instead of having it assume you want General on the : flash disk? : : thanks and hth : : Richard : : > ----- Original Message ----- : >From: Keao Wright <[EMAIL PROTECTED] : >To: [email protected] : >Date: Mon, 2 Aug 2004 14:41:13 -1000 (HST) : >Subject: [Braillenote] Web Braille : : >Hello all. : >When I try to read a book from web braille, it takes me to the web : >sight for the book.
