You know, it just dawned on me that you might have been trying to get rid
of
something else, meaning the choice of that incorrect name when you stepped
through the various ways to connect using the dots 3 4 chord. And,
truthfully, I hadn't thought about deleting that one before. However,
what
with playing around and all, I managed to get the choice with my phone's
name out of the list of ways to connect.
What I did was to go to the Bluetooth menu on the phone, then move the
little joystick thing to the right to paired devices, find my PK, and then
hit the left soft key for options and arrow down to delete. Then, when I
did a regular reset on the PK, the 3 4 one with no keys held down, that
choice was indeed gone when I went back in and stepped through the choices
of ways to connect. So, I got to go and pair them again.

Not sure what you are trying to erase here. Is it the connection on the
PK?
If so, when in the list of options in the connectivity menu, space down
to
or hit r to review an existing connection configuration. Then, at the
connection configuration to look up prompt, well, I found the best thing
to
do is to hit the spacebar once. Then, you are placed in the list of your
connections that you have set up. So, you can use the space with 5 6 to
go
forward through them, or space with 2 3 to go backward through them.
Then,
when you are at the one you want to delete, press backspace with 2 3 5 6
and
you will be asked if you are sure you want to delete this configuration
and
you can just say yes.

Subject: [Braillenote] Having aquestion about setting up bluetooth:
Hi folks!
Now I have something else to talk about beside this subject which has
gone
on a day and a half too long.
I am trying to set up a bluetooth connection with my Nokia 6620 and when
I
initially did this there was a spelling error when I keyed my phone's
name
in on the phone side.
As a result, the phone is paired but the pk does not see my phone because
of
the miss spelling of my name I guess.
Ok now I went back into the phone and made the necessary correction.
Ok now what I have to know is can I go back and erase this first
connection
because every time I bring it up it shows my name spelled wrong. I have
gone
into the setup menu and written my name as it is written it on the phone
so
where do I go to get rid of this missspelling? I just get in the help
menu
that to go through the items use the spacebar and use the backspace to go
back.
Any help from humanware or one of you geniuses who has made the
conversion
to Pk would be so appreciated.
Thank you.
