Hello Sherry, This is correct. One of KeySoft's many strengths is that it has always taken care of this for you on the fly. I can say it's something I might have taken for granted until I saw what people using other products have to go through.

The only time I've used the BN for email was a few months ago, and I still have version 5.0. I didn't need to translate them then either. I just wrote in braille. I sent those messages to blind and sighted people and nobody had trouble reading them. Isn't it great to not have to be bothered with needing to manually translate your emails written in contracted braille! I would guess that this won't change at all in the new upgrade. When someone with a BN or VN running 5.1 sends an Email, it gets translated automatically, I don't think there is much choice in the matter. Having said all that, I have a QT model, so there could be something I don't know. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of beth Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2005 4:47 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: [Braillenote] 6.1 translation question Hi, all. Not having a BN now, I understand that, prior to 6.1, you gave commands for E-mail to be translated before sending. Now, it will be done automatically, right? What if you are sending one to yourself and do not want it translated? Also, if it is translated automatically, you cannot proof it to check the translation. Thanks.
