Hi Dean and all,
I tried this. I deleted 4 messages and left them in the trash
folder, then went and checked the mail. The system said that the are 4
messages on the server, the four being the ones that I deleted. I then
checked it again. The four messages were still there, they were not deleted.
What do ya think?
Scott

Scott,

This is done automatically with any email that is in the trash if this
option is selected. Therefore, move your email to trash once read and check
your email again which will complete this process.
