Irish Tea Bread 2 pounds raisins 1 pound dark brown sugar 2 1/2 cups cold tea 4 cups self-rising flour 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon In a large mixing bowl, combine raisins, sugar and tea and allow to sit for 8 hours or overnight. Stir in 2 eggs, spices and flour. Mixture will be very moist. Bake in two greased loaf pans at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Freezes well. Makes 2 loaves. -- Char Haz [EMAIL PROTECTED]
