This is a great tasting bread and it makes the house smell so good while it
bakes. Makes good toast too. I used the dough cycle and baked this in the
oven at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes. I got this recipe from several different
groups and it was posted by John Ross and by Neris. Hope you enjoy as much
as I did.
Dilled Buttermilk Bread
1 1/2 pound loaf
1/2 cup water
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon butter, softened
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons dried dill weed
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
Place all ingredients in machines full assembled pan in the order specified
by manufacturer. Select the Basic or White cycle and press start. After
the first 10 minutes of kneading check the dough and make any necessary
adjustments.
