1 egg -- beaten
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
2/3 cup orange juice
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
ORANGE TOPPING
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
2 tablespoons sugar
Blend first 4 ingredients and set aside. Sift together remaining ingredients
except for topping. Combine mixtures until just moistened and pour into a
sprayed 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
1 loaf [9x5]
