GARLIC POPOVERS

Heat oven to 450 degrees.

1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cloves garlic, crushed

Grease six 6-oz custard cups or 8 medium muffin cups generously.
Stir all ingredients with a fork just until smooth, Do Not
Overstir. Fill custard cups 1/2 full, muffin cups 3/4 full.
Bake 20 minutes, decrease oven temperature to 350 degrees. until
deep golden brown, about 20 minutes longer.
Immediately remove from cups. Serve hot.
Makes 6 or 8 popovers.

NOTE: To keep popovers warm, turn off oven; leave popovers in cups
no longer than 15 minutes.

Personal Hints:
*Heat muffin or custard pans in the oven for about 5 minutes before
filling.
*If you have bread lovers you will want to double this recipe.
*Add more or less garlic to taste.
