I plumbed mine similar to Ira's
Used the plumbing kit from Chris Coffee, I chose the one with filter
and softener cartridges.

I tee'd into my refrigerator water line...
ran john guest tubing to the the two filters (also had a pressure
regulator at that spot)

Using the water reservoir that came with Brewtus, I cut a hole in the
top (so you can get your fingers in to connect the float assembly.
At the back of the float is a threaded plastic male nipple.Cut a hole
in back of the plastic reservoir so the nipple pokes out the back
Cut a hole through the back case of Brewtus and ran the john guest
tubing up to the float nipple, fitting screws straight to the nipple.
Make sure to cut the hole in the brewtus case a little larger than the
fitting, so that the reservoir could rise if it were empty,
and the saftey feature would turn Brewtus off.
It won't go empty since it is plumbed, but I didn't want to disable
the safety feature. It only has to be slightly bigger hole.

I did insert an on/off valve in the tubing about 18: from the machine,
so I can turn off the water supply when I clean, etc

I've had this setup for a couple years--no problems, I love it....just
waiting for the kitchen upgrade so I can plumb the drain!
