When my machine is left on for an hour or longer the steam pressure
will rise to the point that the pressure release valve starts popping
off, (around 2 bar). The red light indicating the steam boiler is
heating will normally shut off at around 1.5 bar, but if it's on too
long it just keeps heating. It seems like whatever mechanism is
supposed to tell it to shut off the heating element in the steam
boiler stops working. If I shut the machine off for several hours and
let everything cool off completely it will return to operating
normally. Any ideas on what's going on, and how to fix it, would be
appreciated.
