The reason the group is not hot is probably because the brew boiler is not
full.  It has to be full to allow the water to circulate from the top of the
boiler, through the group and then down to the bottom of the boiler. To start,
make sure the lever is in the down (not middle) position or water will leak out
of the brew group. It may also be a problem with water leaking by the OPV valve
and going back into the reservoir. To check this remove the tube from the
resrvoir and put it into a dry cup,  It will leak a little while it is heating
up but then it should stop. Also on start up raise the lever up and run a couple
of ounces through the brew group to make sure the boiler is full.Let us  know
how you are making out.ThanksTodd SalzmanWhole Latte Love understand that with
HX machines users have to flush to take group'stemperature down.I am
experiencing the opposite. Usually, when I leave the machineidling for a while
the group's temperature just feels warm/hot. Then,I flush it a bit and a few
minutes later, it is burning hot. Is thisnormal with double bolier machines?I
know that water circulates inside the E61 group. Does it happenwhile a shot is
being pulled? if not when?Thanks
