I ordered a new OPV from WLL for my Brewtus II, as I'm having pressure problems. They didn't have pumps in stock, so I decided to skip that and see if this does it.
The new part looks a bit different than mine. In this picture: https://skitch.com/chrisrbailey/frx9x/opv At the bottom right, it's a larger outside threaded surface, and then there's an inside threaded surface. Compare to: https://skitch.com/chrisrbailey/frx94/opv-in-machine I'm guessing that the silver, L-bend shaped piece that the hose attaches to can be threaded into the inside of the newer one, and I just ignore the outer threads on the new OPV? Also, are there any instructions around for replacing one of these? Can I simply power off my machine, unscrew stuff, and screw in the new one? Do I need to use any thread tape or sealant? Other things to do, or any particular order or other items? I presume that after I replace it, I'll want to adjust the pressure using a blind PF to about 10 bar? -- Chris Bailey [email protected] @chrisrbailey -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
