Well, my three-year-old Brewtus II has gone belly up. I've replaced
the pump twice (and the valves that go with that assembly), and
recently I swapped out the dying original Mater pressurestat for a
spiffy new Jaeger. Cool.

Until today. Started up the Brewtus this morning after an overnight
rest, it cranked up fine as always, began heating, but then stopped
heating at 34°. Hmmm. I turned it off, unplugged it for 15 minutes,
then tried again. This time, it got to 47° before stopping. After an
hour's rest powered down, I tried one last time. Got to 42° and quit
heating.

I fear that this is very bad news---as in, a defective heating element
or a controller that's gone kaput. Either of which scares the heck out
of me, since my repair skills are modest, and I'm on the Oregon coast,
2,000 miles west of Whole Latte Love.

Anyone know what's going on with my Brewtus?
