Hi Bruce I have two options that I am considering, I have been offered a Reneka Mosaic Joystick type lever from one of our local suppliers or the one from Chris coffee.
I believe that the connections are a standard 3/8” male fitting and that the Brewtus probably has the same fitting so I am going to take a chance, if it isn't I will just get a female 3/8" fitted onto the Brewtus. Just waiting to see if the guys from ChrisCoffee.com can do anything on the cost of shipping for me, it is very expensive to get it shipped to South Africa from the US using UPS ($99) so they said they would see what they could do vis the USPS, if not I will probably just get the local supplier to get me the Reneka fitting. My steam tap was also leaking so I decided to dismantle it and see if I could do anything. It is fitted with a small teflon washer about the size of one of those discs that a hole punch cuts out of paper when making holes. I was rather raised in the middle and thin on the sides, obviously from having the tap screwed in too tight, so I got a blunt screwdriver and flattened it out again. It now seems to be working fine again so hopefully it will last long enough for me to get my replacement taps. Will keep you posted on how the change over goes when I get them in.
