I'm sure when you've opened the cover on your Expobar, you've noticed a 
U-Shaped magnet on top of the brew boiler. I heard the reason for this is to 
'de-ionize' (or was it re-ionize?) the water as it passed out of the boiler to 
the brew head.

Is this true? To me it all seems a bit much. Having said that, I do still have 
the magnet there.
