I removed the latest heater and I have to retract my previous assumption. This time the heater element was completely melted. Amazingly there were blobs of copper slag rattling around in the boiler. That is HOT! There is something else going on - not defective replacement heaters. I'll start a new post on that problem, with a photo. Melted heaters tend to mean no water. Next time don't hook up the heater and make sure everything else is working first. The heater should not turn on till the water is full, if it does you have a serious problem. -- Ira -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
