On other posts I detailed my saga of heater replacements and GFCI problems traced to heaters failing after a month of use. The other removed heaters looked physically OK but had electrical leakage. This last heater was completely MELTED, with bits of melted copper rattling around inside the boiler. I think this overheating must have been happening to a lesser degree on my earlier heater failures.

I suppose that means the boiler was not getting filled with water, but the funny thing is my wife used the machine for a month and seemed to be having no trouble making espresso. She also is very careful about keeping the tank filled. What should I be checking? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
