You can also get rid of the reservoir and put a pressure regulator and a 
solenoid valve in front of the pump, then wire the solenoid parallel with 
the pump so that the valve is only open when the pump is on. Otherwise the 
water pressure will go through the pump and overfill things. If you do that 
you have to take the return line that used to go back to the reservoir and 
connect it to that unused spigot below the group so the excess water ends 
up in the drip tray. I plumbed in my drip tray to the drain so I never have 
to empty it any more. If you don't do that you might end up emptying it 
more often than expected. 

Or you can convert it to a rotary.
