I've replaced my pressurestat with the stock one twice the 7 years I've
had my BII, and finally took the plunge and went for the Jaeger. I was a
bit intimidated by previous talk of mismatched connecters and teflon
tape, but it turned out to be no problem at all. As others have said,
one turn of yellow tape, and not too tight. Chris's even sent a nice
little diagram.
I'd gotten so used to putting up with periodic hissing that my house
seems eerily quiet now! A highly recommended upgrade.
