Thanks again John. I was also searching, and found http://www.theoringstore.com/ (who knew? What did we do before the internet???).
In red silicon, I ordered the following sizes: SAE: 1/16 cross-section, 5/32 ID, 9/32 OD (I know this works--that's what the black ones are), minimum quantity 10 at $0.05 each (!) Metric: 1.5mm cross-section, 3mm ID (no OD can be specified), minimum qty 1, ordered 3, $0.58 each 1.5mm cross section, 4mm ID (no OD can be specified), min qty 1, ordered 3, $0.58 each. I ordered the metrics just because I'm curious, but obviously the SAE ones are dirt cheap and I now have a lifetime supply... Shipping was $5. Will report back when they arrive, as to which metric size was correct. I measure the old ring at about 4mm, and the breaker at 3.5mm. best, bmc Sent from my apple IIe On Aug 22, 2014, at 7:28, John Brinkman <[email protected]> wrote: > http://www.amazon.com/Silicone-O-Ring-70A-Durometer-Red/dp/B003SLE5LS#productDescription > > Just need the size > > Otherwise would try a hydraulics company, that's where I ended up > getting mine from. > > JohnB > > On Fri, Aug 22, 2014 at 4:18 PM, Benjamin McCafferty <[email protected]> wrote: >> Thanks John.
