Krista - I haven't seen anything like this - I think most people (myself included) start educating themselves at a site like www.home-barista.com, coffeegeek.com etc with respect to all the different things that can affect coffee quality etc. Because the E-61 grouphead is so common a lot of different articles would apply. Remember the following things for coffee quality
Most important to least important 1. Coffee quality and type - most afficianados will roast their own coffee - MUCH fresher, better control and can vary the roasts to suit your own taste. 2. Grinder - shitty grinder equals shitty coffee. 3. Water - crappy water equals crappy coffee 4. Coffee maker - even though you have a primo machine (IMHO) you should still educate yourself on the above points to make sure you are covering all the bases. 5. Cleanliness is next to godliness (Rancid oils around equals bad coffee!) My friends love my coffee, but when I explain all the things I do to get that product, they don't love it as much. And if you love coffee, it's a slippery slope.....
