Interesting thread. It sounds like the customer was satisfied after he adjusted his grind. There's a fair amount of confusion as to whether the "leakage" was coming from the group exhaust nozzle or the OPV outflow spout, and the thread gets sidetracked at the end.

There's quite a lot of info the archives for this list about brew pressures, how they build up, how they differ between blind shots and read brewing, and there's also lots of great material on the home-barista.com site. In a nutshell, brew pressure profiles differ based on the type of pump and whether the machine is plumbed in or uses a reservoir. Tweaking the grind and tamp to achieve the perfect shot with the machine and coffee you have is part of the experience of owning a machine like this.

I've owned a BII for 7 or 8 years or so, and I'm happy with my purchase. I wouldn't let this thread deter you from buying if you're getting a good deal.

Happy brewing!

Hello Expobar community,

I am a just step to order machine Expobar Brewtus IV from a pretty kind dealer with excellent offer. I read a lot about the machine and learned that it is a good value for the money machine. I found the folowing thread in a popular forum, where the Brewtus owner had not reported so far if he has received solution from the WWL:

http://www.home-barista.com/espresso-machines/expobar-brewtus-iv-not-reaching-brew-pressure-t18487.html <http://www.home-barista.com/espresso-machines/expobar-brewtus-iv-not-reaching-brew-pressure-t18487.html>

In a few words, a customer with two weeks old Expobar Brewtus IV with vibe pump suffer from the following problem: activates the pump, the brew pressure up to 4 bars, and water exhaust from the nozzle underneath the E61 brew group. After the stop of the pump the arrow of the brew pressure gage up and freeze to 10 bars. It is interesting that the forum guy did not share how WWL helped him here.

I really hope to share with me your experience with such kind of issue and what would be the fix to it.

Special thanks to Todd from WWLif he attends this topic!

Thank you all! :)
