Yes, it went south from first time we noticed the delay in the switch. 
So... if you see a bit of delay from the switch go and order one so you're 
ready. With the machine off work the switch with your finger. If it doesn't 
move easily then its on its way. The metal on my switch is pretty well worn 
and scarred.

14... sorry that must be an exaggeration. Been a long time.... 2002? Might 
have been 2003? It was spring so 11.5-12.5 years. The brewtus 2 had just 
come out.

Was wondering how arduous that switches life was: 12.5 years, 340 days a 
year, 5 pulls/day. Each pull is 3 pump actuations + one more longer one to 
clean when done. So 16 button presses a day. 16 x 340 x 12.5 = 25.5k 
presses. Not so many compared to a dell keyboard or a car's window switches
