Can someone direct me to a conversation re: how to install a water filter/softener system for my IV-R I had an system on my B1 and I'm wondering if it is outdated or will still work.
The old system was the refrigerator line but the new system will be from a sink (old one can be seen in the compendium)goes *water source (sink) *carbon water filter * softener (can't remember my water hardness but I checked then and I need it and it was correct-whats the goal again?) * pressure regulator (to 20-30) I had numerous shut off valves for convenience, never had a leak Is this still an acceptable system? the only difference would be that the sink already has a water filter cartridge which I would like to use, but I'm not sure it is carbon filter. I think its GE or whatever you find in home depot. I got my old system from Chris Coffee. If needed, i could swap out the current filter for the one from my original setup, which looks like it is a bigger filter.
