A 2000 watt unit might be a special offer, but I don't think it will be the new 2016 standard for the line in the US because of building code considerations.
In terms of newness, I thought the 2000w heaters were introduced in Australia before 2012. The barrier to use in the US is the widespread presence of an old 'model' building code specifying 15 amp max on kitchen circuits (dictated by the wire quality that was "approved" for use in cheaper new houses where builders were trying to keep costs down.) While most current new houses have 20 amp circuits and 100 Amp service or better, there is a lot of 15 amp out there in the housing stock. BTW, WLL is the Internet sales presence of the US Master distributor/wholesaler for many restaurant industry products such as Mazzer Grinders and Expobar coffee machines. I do not think they have any 'shops'. - ------------------------///// > On Jan 20, 2016, at 5:48 PM, Liviu Fratila <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello, > Good news in 2016 from Expobar - "2000W elementS" > I see no info's from Expobar but we wait the new users with this model or the > american online coffeeshops like WLL to make a review. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
